Ahhhh~~~ I've been too lazy on updating the blog with photos from Ani-Jam or Fanime :/ I don't really have time to really SIT and just edit pictures as well~ For that, I must apologize, readers >.< Gomen nasai~!!!  Anyways, today is supposed to be the 2nd annual International Cosplay day D: I didn't get to cosplay at all, because of Okaa-san, who kept demanding my attention T__T .... Nazi, Nazi, Nazi...

Besides...*whispers* Okaa-san doesn't know I'm a cosplayer *___* ....Hehehehehehe ;) That's right >:O I have a "double" life :P By day =__= ~ I am a normal 2nd-year college Art student (with the crazy imagination of a rainbow prism), who hangs out in the Court with her friends (who are, in fact, proud cosplayers donning the most unpredictable garments...here and then) ~~

Yup~~ :P

Well, on with the blog... Today, overall, I got to go fabric shopping for one of my FIRST priorities.  The FIRST one was Kingdom Hearts' "Namine"~ of course :O You see~ Sakana-san and Mizu-chan are hugeeeeeeee~~ fans of this anime/fantasy videogame, Kingdom Hearts, and well...since Sakana-san is already recognized as "Roxa"/"Ventus"~ and Mizu-chan's already "Xion"/"Aqua"~~ and well...one of the only parts I can play...that was left...was obviously "Namine." :D

...I mean, yeah, obviously... (I don't really think you got the whole picture of how my simple-yet-complicated brainy works...)

The other cosplay priorities?

Uhh... Too many T^T So many, that it makes me wanna cry~ lol.

Anyways~ >:D !!! I'm going to work on mi "Namine."  Although I'd like to work with the original outfit of herself, the Girls were being a bit creative, and I guess...it was up to me to come up with a "Halloween Town" style of her.  That pretty much means I have to make a Halloween costume for the little artist :) It seemed fun at the time, so I finally got the time to go to the local fabric store and bought myself lots and lots of white cloth.  Even sparkly see-through ones.

...Not telling you the price T^T

To be honest, I haven't really made any cosplay costumes myself before.  I feel bad and left out sometimes when the Jammies talk about their works, and I envy them very much lol~ I'm always wearing the ones that Sakana-san made ahead of time, but it doesn't really feel the same as you wearing your own work.  It's weird, but as much as it's a total pain to work on a costume from scratch, I love that feeling of self-satisfaction and pride of work that comes along with it.  Before Fanime of 2011, I had altered a white dress from Macy's (store) for "Vocaloid Rin's" Sychroncity outfit...and the second costume I worked on was mostly aided by Otou-san, who was himself a professional seams-man.  That 2nd cosplay costume, my friend, was the epic "BB Hood" from "Marvel vs. Capcom" ;)  I never really got close to the whole "working from literally scratch" spot, but I'm hoping that with "Halloween Town Namine"~ I'll get that real experience that the Girls get all the time XD

Of course, Sakana-san, I thank you and give you credit for the costumes you had lent to me :D

And then again...geez...I really need to order a set of wigs soon.  I need good, better wigs that can fit better with my characters :O For example, I need medium-length blonde hair for "Vocaloid Rin" since I'm going to use her in the future (Fanime) and a longer snow-blonde for "Namine" :O ....=o= So mucho money...

Cosplaying costs money.

You need money for hotel fees (which is why the Jammies are always recruiting and inviting random cosplayers into the hotel room deal; we split the price amongst ourselves), con badges (so, you'll get to enjoy the full experiences as a cosplayer, such as Dealer's Room and Art Gallery, etc.), food/drinks, blah blah blah...cosplay materials... =o=

Gahhh~~ Doushite, Cosplay? Doushite??? >.<

...I really need to purchase that DOA badge soon :/ *Some con I forgot...where it is...but it's taking place in February???* >.<

...I wonder...when Fanime is going to open their online pre-registration section? (You should never register by the door... You'll be 50 years-old when you get out of line~ lol jk jk XD)

With love and smiles,

Tsuki Yoko :))

P.S. You know...recently, I've been using a LOT of incense sticks for the most un-religious purposes XD Lol~ So baddddd~!! (I use them to light up stoves, etc.)
